2026 Alberta Summer Games Sport Information

Please find below the list of sports that will take place at the 2026 Alberta Summer Games.

All sports must adhere to the minimum eligible requirements for athletes, coaches and chaperones, Alberta Games Athletes, Coaches and Chaperone Eligibility. 

The draft technical package will be available soon. The packages will be listed under each sport icon and contain the sport rules, competitive categories and the age eligibility for each sport. If you have any questions around these rules please contact your Provincial Sport Organization directly.

All athletes must qualify for the 2026 Alberta Summer Games through a zone selection process for their sport. Zone playoffs for each sport will begin in 2026. Check out what zone you live in. 

The 2026 Alberta Summer Games will take place in Strathcona County in July 16-19,  2026.
